This course is a hands-on practical laboratory designed to help learners build and operate a highly available Ceph storage cluster using virtual machines and modern infrastructure automation tools. Students will deploy a 5-node Ceph storage environment using VMware Workstation, HashiCorp Vagrant, Ubuntu Server, Ansible Infrastructure as Code, and Cephadm deployment methods. The course also introduces the use of AI coding assistants such as Devin and Windsurf to accelerate infrastructure deployment and automation tasks.
